TO SET UP PRINTER IN A LOCAL NETWORK
To set up printer in a local network for print do the following steps to configure it.
1.
Connect your printer to the local
network with UTP cable to the network port of the printer
2.
Go to the control panel in your
computer as shown below
3. Find Hardware and Sound as shown above and click View devices and Printers as shown below:

After click view devices and printer
then the dialogue box will appear as shown below then click Add printer
5.
Then the following dialogue box will
appear as shown below then click the printer that was not listed as shown
6.
After that the following dialogue box
will appear then click using ip address of hostname as shown below and then
click Next
7.
In the following dialogue box select
TCP/IP and then fill the IP address of your printer as shown below and then
click next to proceed with the installation
8. After choose your printer manufacturer
in the list as shown then click Next, if you have not seen your name for your printer,
you can click have a disk and install your driver from the disk as shown and
then click Next
9.
After you will ask to type a printer
name as shown below and then click Next
10.
After click do not share printer then
click next as shown below
11.
Then check set as default printer as
shown and click finish. You set your printer as default in order to
differentiate it from other printer for you print directly without select which
printer for printing to save time.

Go to the control panel and click view
devices and printers and then right click the device as shown below and choose
printer properties

Then the following dialogue box will
appear and click preference
14.
After click preference the following
dialogue box will appear then in the page size select A4 and other setting select
1 sided printing then click apply then ok.

Then finish the setting by click ok
and close the control panel, if you want to check the printer is okey you click
print test page to see if it is working.
